Sodium Hydroxide

Sodium Hydroxide is a white, hygroscopic solid and is one of the most important basic chemical substances. Sodium Hydroxide dissolves easily  in water and is an inorganic chemical compound that is one of the strongest bases.

Applications

Sodium Hydroxide is used to extract aluminium and is a main raw material to manufacture pigments and dyes. Numerous applications can be found within the pharmaceutical, chemical, cellulose and paper industries. Sodium Hydroxide is also widely used within the cosmetic industries and is  a main raw material input for pH value regulation in water treatment processes.
