Hydrochloric acid

Hydrochloric acid is a colourless to slightly yellow solution of gaseous hydrogen chloride with strong corrosive properties with a sharp and pungent odour. Hydrochloric acid is usually marketed with concentration levels of 37-38%.

We offer two grades of Hydrochloric Acid. The highest quality being the synthetic grade and the industrial grade being the technical quality. Both products differ in the content of organic compounds and their concentrations. Synthetic Hydrochloric acid is characterized by a very high quality and purity, while technical Hydrochloric acid is usually used in industries with lower quality requirements.

Applications

Hydrochloric acid has numerous applications within the food, textile and cosmetics industries. It is used in the production of industrial and household chemicals, within the energy and mining industries as well as in the production of biofuels.
